October 31st, 2009Welcome to Episode 1 of the Chicken Cake Podcast! If you’re already a Chicken Cake fan, thanks for checking out our newest venture. If you’re a new visitor, you’re probably wondering, “What the hell is Chicken Cake?” Well, it all began like this:
Ali Puckett and Nadiah Abuswai met on Etsy.com in 2008, realized we had a similar sense of humor, and quickly became friends. We started working on craft-related collaboration projects together (The Indie 5 Collective), but we felt a strong desire to use our love of comedy to work on artsy stuff outside the world of crafts.
So, in June of 2009, Chicken Cake was born! Since then, we’ve been making hilarious videos, taking tons of photos, making music, and now we’re producing a monthly podcast! We look forward to bringing you tons of awesome entertainment on a regular basis. There are always new ideas brewing in the Chicken Cake laboratories.
